The Story Behind
Restoration For The Soul Ministries

Cari Turner is a speaker, Bible teacher, mentor, translator, and advocate whose life is a testimony of God’s restoring power. Restoration for the Soul Ministries was birthed from a divine calling God placed on her life during her 5-year incarceration. God used one of the darkest seasons of Cari’s life to draw her back to Him in a deeper and more transformative way.

 

Before receiving her calling to teach,, Cari had already developed a deep hunger for understanding Scripture and biblical truth. During her incarceration, she became immersed in studying the Bible, reading countless Bible-centered books, and pursuing biblical education with passion and discipline. Over the course of five years, she completed over 100 Bible study lessons, and earned a Biblical Studies Certificate from Sanford University. After returning home, she earned a second Biblical Studies certificate from Liberty University and is currently pursuing a certificate in Human Flourishing Coaching.

 

During her incarceration, Cari also began creating and translating teaching materials, leading discipleship and church leadership classes, mentoring others, and assisting in their spiritual growth. Her dedication and biblical understanding led the prison chaplain to entrust her with teaching classes in his absence, further confirming the calling God had placed on her life.

 

A survivor of domestic violence and years of unhealthy relationships, Cari speaks openly about how God healed the broken patterns, wounds, and cycles that once shaped her life.

 

What began as a search for understanding eventually became a calling to teach, encourage, and help others discover that no one is beyond God’s grace, redemption, and restoring love.

 

Today, Cari leads Bible study groups, mentors others, and shares her testimony through speaking engagements, biblical teaching, outreach, and translation services. With more than eight years of experience in translation and teaching/speaking, her heart is to help others see God’s sovereignty and love even in life’s most painful and confusing seasons and to remind them that restoration is always possible through Jesus Christ.

 

She desires for others to experience the abundant life Jesus came to give to all who would receive Him and believes that no matter the circumstances of  life, true peace and joy can always be found in Him.
